Job Duties
Produce moving, equipment hauling. Employee may drive Class 8 over the road Commercial trucks with a GVW (Gross Vehicle Weight) capacity of 80,000 GVW. Employee picks up loaded trailers filled with bins in fields and transports/hauls to the plant's refrigeration storage site - packing/cooling facility (initial point of distribution) located on the farm where the loaded trailers with bins are dropped off. Drivers are not loading or unloading the product and are not working at any of the pick-up or drop-off sites. Employees may repair, maintain and clean truck as assigned. Requirements: A commercial drivers license (CDL) is required. 6-months truck driving experience is required. Employer will offer 35 hours of work per week, Monday Sunday 6:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Hourly work schedule may vary. Ability to work on weekend and holiday hours. Work on Saturdays and Sundays is required.
