Remove wool from sheep. Shear with power driven clippers at least 90 ewes/lambs per day without tying the feet. Exercise care not to nick, pink or cut sin and to avoid double cuts. Clip wool close to hide so that wool is removed in one piece, ready for the wool grader to examine and sort according to quality. Keep equipment cleaned and oiled. Will also set up shearing equipment prior to shearing and pack up shearing equipment upon completion of shearing so everything is ready to move to the next job site. 1 month experience required. It is important that the sheep shearer and the wool grade work in cooperation with each other for the proper handling of the wool.
