Hemp production. Work may begin at daylight. Work is performed during all weather conditions and in temperatures ranging from 10 degrees F to 100 degrees F plus. Work is performed in open fields and may involve exposure to sun, mud, dust, wind, heat, cold, and other natural elements. Workers should come prepared with appropriate clean clothing and footwear for the environmental and working conditions described. Workers should be able to work on his/her feet and/or bent position for long periods of time. Workers must stand, sit, crouch, bend, reach, lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds in the course of performing required activities. Workers must listen to, understand, and follow instructions of Company Management, crew leaders and supervisors. Workers will supply his/her own work clothes. Employer will provide tools and equipment. The tools and equipment will be returned to the employer at the end of each task for proper cleaning and sanitation per food safety guidelines. Worker will be charged for any willful damage, loss or failure to return such tools and equipment. Instructions and general supervision will be provided by the crew leaders, supervisors or designated employee. However, workers will be expected to perform his/her duties in a timely and proficient manner without close supervision. All tasks and rules in this job description and job order constitute one (1) job. Worker is required to perform any task and abide by all rules in any area at any time within this job description and job order. Failure to abide by any task or any rule in this job descriptions and/or job order will subject the worker to disciplinary action, up to and including termination. Workers may be requested to submit to random drug or alcohol tests at no cost to the worker. Failure to comply with the request or testing positive may result in immediate termination. Also, drug testing and background checks may occur during the interview process, and will be conducted at the sole cost
and discretion of the employer. Use of personal cell phone or other personal electronic device during working hours strictly prohibited except for work-related calls or emergencies and violation may result in immediate termination.
