Job Duties
Perform routine functions of setting up and taking down beach chairs, cabanas, and umbrellas. Prepare, produce and service snack bars. Restock snack bar, deliver/pick-up snacks to guests in pool area and ensure proper accounting of monies and guest charges. Deliver/pick-up property rental items, remove and compact trash and other litter, clean pool chairs, tables and umbrellas; arrange pool furniture, rinse and sweep pool area, deck and hot tubs; assist with maintenance of pools and hot tubs; clean/wash outdoor satellite restrooms. Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Minimum 35 hours per week up to 40 hours per week. Open 7 days a week. Shifts vary. Multiple 8 hour shifts throughout each 24-hour period. Sample shift: 10am 6pm. Hours and shifts may vary with occupancy.
Basic wage rate: $11.19 to $12.00/hr. Tip position. Allowed tip credit applied per FLSA guidelines to meet offered wage. Employer will guarantee offered wage for hours worked when allowed tip credit does not make hourly wage equal or exceed the offered wage of $11.19 to $12.00 per hour. Overtime may be available, but not guaranteed. Overtime rate of pay $16.79 to $18.00/hr. Employer may increase wage based on experience and/or provide additional pay for performance and tenure.
